Seeing a dentist is not that painful

Thursday, October 24th, 2013

As i mentioned in a previous post its not often we get clients to take the time to sit down and write a thankyou letter.  Nor is it expected.  But when they are received, it just reaffirms that we are on the right track.

Last weekend end we did the JCU Dentistry Gala Ball at the Cruise liner terminal.  This is what they had to say.

Hi Liam,

Just wanted to say a big thank you again for all the hard work you put in to making our Dental Ball as fabulous as it was. Everyone was raving about how wonderful the venue looked and how smoothly the event was run on the night and its all thanks to you! Personally, I really appreciate all the hours behind-the-scenes that you have put in over the past year and how accommodating you have been with all the changes of plans. The event would not have been possible with out you.

Many many thanks for all your help again, it was greatly appreciated!!

Kindest Regards,

ASAB Gala Dinner

Monday, October 14th, 2013

Its not often we get thank you’s for an event but recently we did an event for 780 people at the Cairns Cruise Liner terminal for ICMS Australasia.
Thought i would share some feed back.

“Dear Liam,

On behalf of ICMS Australasia I am writing to thank Bright Black for their participation in the ASBA 2013 conference dinner. Looking through the gallery at all the smiling faces of all participants is heart warming and such a joy. Our clients were absolutely thrilled to bits which is the true indicator of success.

We really appreciate everything you did delivering over and above our expectations – the themeing was perfect and exactly what I wanted – the wharf looked like a really cool bar exactly what I wanted. Your confidence and commitment in the planning process was such a benefit to me being here in Brisbane your local knowledge was invaluable.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us you are so easy to work with, please thank your team on our behalf.

We will be sure to include you in the final Ezine communication being despatched next Tuesday, which includes the photo library section, its already live on the website. There are some amazing shots the set up and themeing we are only to happy to share.

Next event I have in Cairns I will be sure to make contact.

Kindest regards
Suellen and the ASBA team” — ASBA event

A close encounter of the Royal kind..

Thursday, May 12th, 2011

Now, Yours Truly (that’s me…the lovely young lady doing the typing) isn’t much of a royal-watcher. I’ll quite openly admit that I haven’t followed Kate & Williams courtship with bated breath. I didn’t call all my girlfriends for an extended analysis of the merits of the ring or Willy’s proposal, and I didn’t tune in to the royal nuptials and work my way through a box of Kleenex watching Kate stroll down the aisle. In fact, when it comes to the Royal Family I can pretty much take them or leave them.

BUT…….. when one of them pays a personal visit to our beautiful home town it’s a totally different story!

Yes, BBAV was front & centre for Prince William’s visit to Cairns when he spent a few hours at the new Cruise Liner Terminal meeting & greeting the many volunteers that helped our region through Cyclone Yasi.  Hosted by Cairns Regional Council, we provided the AV & lighting for the event, and Tiger & Tom from the BBAV Tech Team had the pleasure of ensuring that the Mayor & his Royal Highness could communicate with the massive crowd.

Have I mentioned that Tiger isn’t known for his photographic skills?? I also don’t think that this would be the Prince’s preferred angle for publicity shots….  ;-)
