Sorting out the old photo library and came across this video of a Gala dinner event we did In the Cairns Cruise liner Terminal when it first opened of the Tap Dogs.  Bright Black was commissioned to to do the event styling / themeing as well as the Audio Lighting and Vision Productions for this event.

Very talented bunch of boys and great blokes.

ICE, ICE Baby!

It’s got absolutely nothing to do with 80′s rap sensation Vanilla Ice. (Phew…everyone breathes a sigh of relief.) It’s much cooler than that. So cool, in fact, that it’s ICE cold!

A drop in sweltering summer temperatures traditionally signals the beginning of the Nth QLD event season, but never in the history of Cairns have we had ICE in May, until now! ICE Australia Pty Ltd brought their consummate professionalism to Cairns for Cosmetex 2012. Delegates were welcomed at the Hilton Hotel for cocktails on Wednesday 2 May, conferencing was held at the Cairns Convention Centre, and the Gala Dinner was staged at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal on May 4.

We were delighted to be working with the team from ICE Australia, who deliver an exceptionally high standard of event. Take a look at the fabulous photos from the Gala Dinner courtesy of ICE Australia. Bright Black AV provided all AV & staging, along with event design and styling. Dein Perry’s TAP DOGS provided explosive entertainment on the night and Sydney musos THE SHY GUYS rocked the crowd until late.

Yes it’s true…the staff at BBAV are complete and utter suckers for a pretty face (and a great set of legs). Liam was totally star struck when he had the pleasure of working with the beautiful and very talented¬†Luda Kroitor of “So You Think You Can Dance” & “Dancing with the Stars” fame at the Canon Incentive held recently at two of the North’s premiere entertainment & accommodation venues – “Flames of the Forest” & “Thala Beach Lodge”.

Luda Kroitor certainly knows how to burn up the floor!
