APASS

Monday, September 26th, 2016

I Love receiving Emails like this.  Thanks Rien you rock

“Hi Liam, I’ve just returned from Port Douglas having worked on the APASS Conference as the Facilitator/Emcee and keynote speaker.

I’ve been working as a professional speaker for over 20 years and wanted to sing the praises of Rein who in my opinion and experience has been by far the most professional, capable, responsive, ‘can-do’ and ‘calm-under-the-stress-of-unprofessional-incompany-presenters’ AV person I’ve worked with

I openly thanked Rein in front of our audience of 130 plus financial advisers, but wanted to also send this note to say how much of a pleasure it was to work with him and I hope I get the opportunity to do so again.

 Warm Regards

David”

Tech of the Week

Friday, September 21st, 2012

This week we celebrate our tireless tech Tom Logistio, they build the Canadians nearly as tough as us Aussies because there is no stopping him.  A busy time for the Bright Black AV team with the AFL Cairns Presentation Dinner, CDRL Presentation Dinner, Australian Occupational Therapy, Australian Timeshare Holiday Ownership Conference, CAT Conference Dinner, Optus Gala dinner featuring the magical Cosentino, Australian Water Association Conference and Gala Dinner – this has been a team effort but without Tom dividing himself between Cairns & Port Douglas we would not have receiving the glowing thank you’s that have come through the office.

First to thank you and the team for Monday night.  Everything worked seamlessly (as expected) and Tom was absolutely brilliant to work with.  Thank you again.

Shiny Disco Balls!

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

We had a ball (a shiny disco ball) up at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas from the 19th to the 24th of June working on a conference for Niagara Therapy. Port Douglas is such a beautiful location and the group enjoyed both on-site and off-site activities. The world renown “Flames of the Forest” is always a favourite location for conference groups visiting the Far North and is only a 15min bus ride away from the Sheraton.

The group got down and boogied disco-style on their final with a gala dinner and plenty of great music and dancing until the wee hours.

Cory was once again at the helm of this one & did a fantastic job as Project Manager. Love it when a plan comes together.  ;-)

Check out the giant shiny disco ball!!!

Congratulations Matt & Sarah!

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Ah yes…. love was in the air last weekend (June 19) as Matt & Sarah said “I do” and sealed their vows on the gorgeous “Rainforest Green” at Rydges Sabaya Resort, Port Douglas. We were thrilled to be invited to do a little decorating for the happy couple’s big day, but I have to say that working with 40m of white chiffon ceiling draping 2 weekends in a row seriously tested my patience. LOL    I’m just a sucker for ‘LURVE’!  LOL

I love chiffon ceiling draping. LOL
